Mike started his career an electrical engineer working for the Bonneville Power Administration. He taught electrical engineering at the University of Portland and worked most of his career as a consultant providing studies and design services for Pacific Northwest electrical utilities. Shortly before his retirement, he cofounded “Engineers for a Sustainable Future” (ESF) with Bob James.
